That could very well be the issue. When it does the "Thing" we will call it, it does seem to spin over slower but no hint of compression strokes. Maybe all the valves are staying closed? Maybe thats why I don't hear the thump between cylinder strokes and the slow spinning someone mentioned in prior post. They said it sounded like a low battery.
I notice twice a little puff of blue smoke come from the cold air intake when it does the "Thing"...

Smoke from the Imi take is important info.
Is there any crankcase pressure when it doesn’t start.
Use a remote starter switch so you can crank while watching everything.

Wasn't as bad today. It cranked the third time after the video and ran perfect. Use some ear phones to listen. Phone speakers suck.

Here is what you can try. Let sit over night, if next day spins like it has no compression, immediately perform a compression test to see if valve are not seating.

Well I pulled the intake off and dont like what I see..
Intake ports are super shiney but not wet. Looks like someone may have put something in my gas tank...........
Looks like the valves were sticking open.

Soaked in brake cleaner. Once I get those ports and valvestems clean I will pour some Marvel Mystry Oil in the ports and let it soak. Also throw another bottle of Zmax in it.
Injectors are toast! Got several sets of those laying around in the shop.... Pulled the new NGK Iridiums and they are covered in brown goo. Those are soaking as well. Not sure if it hurt the new fuel pump and regulator.
Guess we will see if this corrects the problem or if further damage is done. I have another good set of heads ready too if needed.

Put some gunk or sea foam in the tank. Disconnect the fuel rail and pump all the gas out of your tank. (Just jumper the relay switch and pump the tank dry)Then fill the tank half way and dump some Techron in there. Use different cleaners so they will break down different things. I would also absolutely pull the heads and clean everything, combustion chambers valves and pistons.
I don’t think I would use ZMax. I think I would go heavy on an oil engine flush and clean all your fluids out.
Then go right to Schaefer’s synthetic oil.
You can clean the injectors with a can of injector cleaner, a valve stem and some jumper wires and a 9v battery if you want. (There are videos on YouTube) works great

Already pumped the tank out. Replaced the fuel rail and injectors. Brake cleaner did its job and got the gunk off the valvestems. Pulled plugs and cleaned those. Put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the intake ports and let it sit. Already changed the oil with Mobile 1 0w40. I got the Heavy Duty Seafoam at $12 a can. Dropped it in the tank with 8 gallons of premium.
Zmax soaks into the metal. I am a firm believer in that ****!! Had a issue with my racecar dropping oil pressure at 7200rpm. 3 times that happened and on the 3rd pass the bypass valve blew out of the SVT pump. Got back to the shop and pulled engine apart and there was no damage to any of the rod/main bearings.
Guess we will see what happens. I have 2 other sets of heads just in case.
Locking gas cap done!

Sounds like it mostly permeated the fuel system and didn’t get into the oiling system. That’s good. If that’s the case, cleaning the valve stems, seats and combustion chamber will have some good results.
Dodge makes an Excellent combustion chamber cleaner. It smokes like crazy, but it will clean everything to where you can eat off of it.
Sea foam should do pretty good too. May just take a bit longer.
Hopefully your past the point of wanting to riddle it with a 12 Ga. LOL
