Search Homelink. It's on here. I used the post to connect mine when my car didn't come with it.

My car didn't come with it either but I didn't have to do any flashing. Just installed it and ran through programming to clear out old programming and then ran through programming to my garage door. Actually added it to two different cars without any programming.

... im more into the compass working ..... i got the homelink and the cluster from the same car but sadly the fcm was sold with the rely center. .. i reading up on a thread on her that is closed now ... and looked into a deal you can download to your laptop and do some simple stuff like adding wheel comtrols and make the compass work. more ppl seem to like it than don't after takeing the time to learn how to use it..... its not a cure-all for just chucking a bunch of miss-matched parts at a car but seems to work if thay are atleast the same year. ... il let ya know how it works. or if ... lol

ok guys ..... got the appcar app all set up in a new laptop and all the conectors and such for the charger ....... it realy was nice and smooth. did what the email thay sent me said to do. .. plug and play. all total with a new laptop ... connector .... and the app was just under 300 bucks. got rid of the tpm light ... turned on the compass and wheel control ... went to 4 lights with high beams on and turned on the daytime running lights. spent 2 hrs working with it getting into the stuff deep in the system and am happy with what i can do. thay say i can do keys with it. sad part is its a one car only thing ... more cars can be added but it will cost ya 50 per. will do the hands free phone thing when i get the parts to do it .... all in all ... i dig it. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE VIN'S OR MILEAGE .... that is still a dealer thing and the parts gatherd should come from the same car or atleast the same year. ... sadly 05's suck all by themself .... 06-07 ... then 08-10. ie useing a 2010 homelink overhead with a 06 cluster should work ... but mite not.

Sounds expensive when you gotta buy a laptop but at least you have that for the future. Cost me 50 the first time and 30 for a second vin. You can change PCM vin's but you have to buy your original vin and the vin for the replacement part. I know because I did it with appcar for my 42rle to nag1 swap.

thanks for the input on the vin thing ... good to know. ..... i wanted to get a laptop just for the car so i can run my I2 for data logging at the track and so forth. turns out that the cable i got to go from the OBD port to the laptop for the appcar has its own scanner thing in it. will do live data in gage format and code reading on its own .... nice to have so i don't have to pack my snap on brick with me. turns out im only getting 80% on the tps and didn't even know it. i got some other things im going to try with it as far as activateing things in the extra fcm's i have here without adding a new vin to the appcar. in talking with them yesterday thay can't mess with millage in any way over there. .. but thay are working on a update for this side of the pond so we can correct the millage to match the millage in the PCM. but won't happen any time soon ... if at all.

Side note, dunno about fcm but when I replaced the tipm in my 08 I didn't have to do or change anything with it, once I changed the PCM vin it worked as normal.
