Can you get a flexable automotive magnet retreiver tool in there? The clip is metal right? You want to get it out, can't leave it in there I would think.

Take the inspection window out and maybe try a air hose to blow around in there to see if you can jar it down to the bottom

Bottom of the bell housing there is a little plate held on with a 10mm head bolt pull that and you can see the flywheel and maybe get a little magnet in there or a small dentist mirror to look in there?

I finally did the delay valve delete on my 2015 Scat Pack. I'm 55 and most of
my personal cars have had a manual transmission. The notchy shifting finally got to me. It's a big change... almost feels like I need to learn to drive it again.

Here is my experience with the CDV mod:
    1. People have noted that the spring clip can fly away. I came in from the front and was able to get a pick under the clip and a finger above it to hold it. No issues.
    2. Bought a pack of various size nipples at Auto Zone. Use 2nd largest size. Cost $5.00
    3. Most videos talk about using a pick to get the o-ring and blue flow limiter out. I was able to get the black o-ring easily with a pick. No joy with the blue flow limiter.
    4. I used a wood screw to get the blue flow limiter out. Use one that is 1.5 or 2 inches long with very thin shank. I ended up using a drywall screw. My advice is to use a wood screw for both. Be very gentle and thread the screw in and it will come right out.
    5. Both the black and the blue pieces are tiny. Much smaller than they appear on most videos. Again be gentle and you will be fine.
    6. Unless you are good with a mirror, you will be doing this blind.
