    Harmonic balancer

So the harmonic balancer is going out on my 11 charger rt. It isnt a #s car and has a 2015 eagle crate hemi in it. How hard is it to replace it and does it require any special tools?

You need the OTC 6667 puller, or similar, with the center rods.

    See pic below.

Snap On makes one, but it's like $7000. I found this OTC one, AFTER I bought the Snap On. Ugh...

You'll need to, at least, pull the radiator and fan assembly, to get clearance. If you want to save some heartache, pull the front bumper cover, radiator and fan assembly; bungee the AC condenser up, out of the way and go for it.

To replace the balancer, you'll need a special long bolt, to start it. Miller tools makes it. I'm sure there are copies, now.
