    07 Charger w/ C107C, Po571, and U1408 Codes. Help?

My 07 Charger is throwing codes C107C ABS Brake Pedal Switch, P0571 Cruise Control / Brake Switch Circuit A Malfunction, and U1408 Implausible Brake Signal Received.

I've changed the brake switch under the pedal. Did not fix the issue. The old switch tested fine with a multimeter anyways.

    Any ideas?

Experiencing the same -- came up out of nowhere. Also getting C2200. Will probably change out the switch today just to eliminate as a possible cause. Did you ever solve?

If not, anyone have any ideas before I jump into the rabbit hole?

For what it's worth, this makes it official. Three cop cars and all three have had the dreaded ABS/BAS, etc. failure BS problem(s). And of course no one solution will fix all three. What a $hitty system!

Replaced the switch. All codes are gone except for C2200 - which is an ABS module failure - all lights are still on. As the car is about to be sold, and I wouldn't wish this experience on any new owner, I'm going to take the plunge and bring the car to the dealer. Kills me to say that, but from what I understand, if the module needs to be replaced, it has to be initialized. As well as the ABS system needing to be "uniquely" bled. Both procedures requiring a dealer's scan tool... Damn.

5 years later, a fourth cop car charger, 2008.

So i have this problem as well. I have the column shift. My issue comes and goes. Same lights same codes.
I've changed the switch but as usual, the switch tested normal and issue persists.
In the meantime I've tapped off the white wire for the shift lock solenoid and put it on a momentary push switch to apply ground to unlock the shift and get me moving.

Has anyone found the cause or fix yet?

I've finally had this issue fixed. I had to take it to a car electrical specialist.
He replaced the switch with one from the dealer and also found a shorted wire going to the ECM.
My suggestion would be to get the wiring diagram if you can and check for faults in all the 6 wires going to the various components.
He charged me around $400, but worth it to finally get it fixed, as it was now setting hard codes and wasn't able to inspect.
    Good luck everyone!
