    Sunroof installation

I’m finally going to reskin my Magnum roof and install a sunroof. Will the sunroof operation be plug and play or will I have to go get the car programmed to make it work?

I'm not sure, but definitely want to see pics of the process when you get it done.

If you're going through the effort of swapping out the sunroof, you should consider the CDC Glassback. Not sure if CDC still makes it but it's certainly a unique modification

    Check it out here.

From what I remember, the Glassback roof won't work with the Magnum. At the trailing edge of the roof on the 300, it curves down towards the back glass where the Magnum has a flat roof. Although I wish that it would, I'd love to have one of those on my Magnum!

After going to the junkyard and pulling a sunroof I’ve decided it’s simpler to just cut the hole undersized and fold the edges of the opening over versus changing the entire skin. I cut the hole yesterday and will be starting the install soon.

There’s structure for the opening and to mount the sunroof I’m installing and then I’ll fold the edges

I think you'll need to program for the sunroof module. You can do that with the AlfaOBD app.

Sunroof is in and working. Turns out it is plug and play. No dealer programming was needed. I still have to finish welding but I’ll finish that up in a couple weeks. I’ll post pics soon.
