    Throttle body spacer?

Silly question but i had to ask... Does putting a spacer in your throttle body, give you performance?

If you don't believe me just do a few google searches on the truth about throttle body spacers or do throttle body spacers really work.
There are a few threads of people that did dyno testing and their results.

They look cool but thats about it.

There was one on my car when I bought it. Only thing it did was make a cool noise when paired with an intake.

throttle body spacers worked back when cars still had the throttle body on top of the intake just like a carb spacer. now to get the same effect you need an upper intake spacer. and idk if that will even work on out cars but back when i had an LH some guys had made a 3/8" upper intake spacer and tested it out on a dyno and on the 3.5ho they gained 30ft.lbs over stock but at low rpms. just putting my .02 cents in.
and dont ask for the link to the thread cuz i aint gonna dig for it. if you wanna find out do a search for upper intake spacer on dodgeintrepid.net and youll find it there

almost adds the same amount of power and mileage as a k&n and a flowmaster decal on the side window.

I think you'll get better gains with an electric turbo kit and straight pipe exhaust.
