Is there value in having that post covered? I too like having factory things where they belong but not sure if it can do some harm having it exposed. Thanks

Mine broke. The only replacement I could find was for a Charger maybe. I bought it, the cable cover is different, it doesn't fit. I cut and taped the two together for a franken-cover. Anyone got a source for a new one?

It's a safety thing. Don't want anything to accidentally short it out and cause a fire. That being said, mine is also broken and missing, and has been for several months. I'd imagine the dealer can get them, it's probably the same part on the current cars.

Thank you all.
The one I bought is 68188999AA, and it doesn't fit my Magnum. I'll keep my eyes open, but in the meantime the modified one will do. Plenty of other parts on my car need more attention.
I think I have one of these. Every time I went to the junkyard I'd pull one if I found a good one. Can't get the earlier ones separate from the harness, I had modified a newer one to work for awhile. PM me if you're interested.
