That 12.0 was on a 1.8 60' and less prep than a city intersection lol

They're actually pretty damn close to all things I've weighed, where do you see a discrepancy? Care to elaborate?

I've gutted my car and weighed everything.

#1 The passenger seat is about 70lbs.
    #2 The rear carpet/deadening alone is 50lbs
#3 Lithium battery (track use only) can drop 40lbs.
    #4 Wheels/Tires can drop almost 100lbs.
    #5 Exhaust can drop 60lbs
#6 Never weighed driver seat but you can drop more by switching to racing seat, not 22lbs.
    #7 Front carpets/deadening drop about another 30lbs.

Sooooo... Pretty damn close , your numbers differ from mine although batteries vary, exhaust varies , and drag pack(wheels) vary. That list is fairly accurate for all intents and purposes.

    Want to increase trap speeds

So no power adders. Seem like it’s all weight reduction. Is that the 392’s limit?...

I’ve seen so many post on weight reduction vs adding power I get it but chances are on a daily basis I’ll have the seats in the car. Don’t really want to treat the car like a hatchback civic. I like the numbers folks get but thus far I’ve had what seem to be the highest trap on less mod..

Stainless works long tube headers and an actual dyno tune and I’ve trapped 121mph all be it amazing DA but it seem from the info gathered there just isn’t much creativity in the community yet to go beyond the typical “LMI intake, Long tube headers” and mid muffler delete”... I’ve been looking at the E85 commander I’ve seen mixed reviews on that some hate it because it’s not tune friendly and can’t mess with timing tables but even if there is truely “something” worth the gain for $800, I’ve been PAINFULLY going through YouTube to find any info on gains, maybe I’m impatient but going through vids where it’s a bunch of yapping before getting to the point I just click off. Don’t care about the weather and the last car wash and what not lmao. Haven’t seen anyone who despite “not needing a tune” actually adjust tune for maximum gain. If I can pick up 3 mph it would be worth it to me.

Beyond headers, tune (E85 too), and CAI/Exhaust (which usually don't provide tangible gains) there really isn't anything that will add HP on any domestic NA V8. To go beyond those means internals or FI. Most go after the weight reduction because it is makes the biggest gains in performance once traction is solved. It's not a problem of the community, it's an issue in how much the factory doesn't leave on the table anymore compared to previous generations.

Very unlikely you’ll see 3mph with out a tune with the e85
Out it back on the rollers and tune it for the e85 and you will see it.

Agreed I get my tune looked over for everything so this most certainly wouldn’t be untuned, I’ve taken my filter off and had tune rechecked...

Fair assessment guess from there it’s more like porting the heads and getting a cam if your goal is to stay NA.

No luck in ppl going e85, maybe some hellcat injectors and tuning those out?... gotta be more than just intake header muffler delete lol. Im going to give that a test.
