Tazer
It's in the center display settings of the EVIC. You can choose for it just to show "D" or "D-whatever gear it's actually in". It won't hurt a thing to leave it showing D1 or whichever gear you're...
I, for one, am glad you stuck around....even if you ARE driving a mudstain now lol
I forgot to add, my PCM came from a 5.7, just has my original calibration written with the VIN.
I'm running a 3 bar MAP sensor and have made passes from 50F to 90F and the only difference I've...
Depends on what the engine started out as....that's the calibration that will need to be in the PCM. The original cal from the original PCM.
My 426 is running on my original 6.4 calibration....
No issues with BCM or TCM. Your best bet is to send it in to HP or DS. The base calibration needs to be written too or it won't run at all. Been there, done it.
Rick Tapp can do that for you too...
Just slap some Flex Seal on there. It fills all holes lol
Your motor is 5.7 based isn't it?
If so, the 5.7 and 6.4 PCM's are interchangeable once VIN and Calibration are written. IIRC (and I'd gladly be corrected) the 6.1's won't work where a 5.7/6.4 PCM...
That's the Pittsburgh from Harbor Freight. They have 2 designs, one has the front roller, the other has wheels. I have the wheeled version lol.
They've redesigned it recently, but think it was...
That's the biggest issue. It seems Joe pretty much has the entire market in his hands. AlphaOBD is the closest thing I know of.
The utility will let you update it, but that's the extent of what it does. I don't update mine often as sometimes updates on things tend to make them worse.
If a new feature comes out (like when...
I keep the SRT settings active so I can see the font better (it's a little thicker). The needle does read lower than it does when I've unmarried the Tazer for whatever reason, but the digital in the...
I don't even have the Daytona one. I have the cheap Pittsburgh low pro lightweight racing jack. My only complaint is that the jack pad was destroyed in about a year. I don't consider that a big deal...
I've had the Tazer in my SP for years. Only a couple of times has it not "went to sleep" resulting in my needing a jump. I usually keep it unplugged unless I'm at the track.
Cool down mode works...
Harbor Freight catches so much grief, but their Daytona jacks aren't bad. I've been using mine heavily for about 7 years now without a mishap.
You're going to need +15mm- +18 mm offset. That will fit all 4 corners with no issues.
If you go higher, say +25 like some wheels that fit our cars, you'll need a spacer of front to clear the...
Feathermerchant, if you remember him, got a tesla a few years ago and said goodbye to his Magnum. We met up and he took me for a ride and I'll tell you a fact.... If I was on street tires, I couldn't...
This is where I see an issue. Places have been doing rolling blackouts for YEARS because the grid can't handle the load. No one I have ever seen has mentioned improving those grids before making...
Before you buy anything, give Rick Tapp at Tapped Performance a call (469) 500-7649. He's a great guy and know his stuff. He's the one that helped Jerrytotin build the Hellwagon.
He's also going...
Think of it as insurance against leaning out and money you don't have to spend later on when you want more power. I'm a huge fan of do it once, do it right.
Had I actually slept and NOT gotten up at 3am, I had planned to ride up to Tapped today and talk to him about my tune. I may still, depends on how I feel later on today lol
Not to dis Holley, but there's a lot of people running Fore systems, myself included. Dual hat return system, 3/8 lines, fore rails and FC3 controller.
They work without question. I am well below...
The spoiler makes a "vacuum" on the rear end, letting all the dirt and road crap settle on the camera and back bumper. That's what he meant.
I echo every word of that statement.
It'll make 1000hp on pump gas? I don't think so.
Please understand that I have been talking to several big name builders for years now. Octane is what limits our power, even with big PD blowers....
