I have two Escort detectors. I have the MAXII which works really well. Then I got tired of moving it from car to truck and back so I bought an Escort Max 360. This one is larger but like the V1 it has the arrows and signal counters. The best thing is the app for your phone that will connect with all of members on the road to help you know where there are live signals. You can also do system updates with the USB cable from your computer. The V1 and V2 do not have GPS built in so the Escorts have the advantage there. The new V2 is a nice one and you no longer have to send it in to get it updated.

    Nor should they IMHO.
Did the escort improve the arrows they stole? The 1st gen one was very slow to react.

Why would you think that GPS is not an advantage to a radar detector???

There are two camps on the GPS issue, Valentine, and all the rest.

Valentine is a great long range detector, and pretty good a filtering falses.
I run Uniden R3's and they are as good and benefit from the GPS for alerting me to my marked locations and red-light cameras and more.
Valentine is pretty stubborn about it and there are some add ons for different things, but I dunno if it came to featuring a GPS option or go out of business what he would do.
But it is a top performer detecting Radar.
I personally don't care about arrows. I get a k-band alert arrow or not I'm getting into legal speeds.
