No gears, grinds in park, ideas needed No gears, grinds in park, ideas needed [emoji120]

Symptom: was in drive, lost gear and went to neutral. Shifting through gears results in all neutral. When going to park, high speed grinding occurred. Turn off ignition in neutral. Im able to put the car back in park with motor off. Start vehicle and park acts again as neutral. Shift through gears, everything is neutral and grinding when going back to park.

    2006 NAG1 RWD
Two year old conductor plate and filter.
Fluid looks good, new fluid 4 months ago
    Valves in place, and tight
No physical damage to the plastic
    Shift cable is fine
Recent 2000 drive no issues, also daily driver

After I removed the pan, and fluid, I was able to shift it by hand just fine.

No codes from the TCM Module. Nothing...

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thx

Linkage is good. But all gears are neutral. So I’m going to look at the fluid in my rear differential.

.... TC or pump would be a wild guess. Never experienced this one. Hopefully someone with a strong background with transmission comes across this thread. Good luck No gears, grinds in park, ideas needed [emoji120]

Is the driveshaft spinning causing grinding when you put it into park?

    Not sure on the driveshaft.

I`m currently installing the conductor plate and shifting linkage then fill with fluid. I need to listen to see where this is coming from underneath. This should have been the first thing I did.

Good to know. Thankfully my output shaft is good. I didn’t drive with this- it happened in my driveway so I just pushed the car back in.

Did you use red or blue loctite?
