Super charger type whine when under aggressive driving.

It's something that's recently started to occur. It's usually at freeway speeds when this happens. Its a STOCK 2018 SCAT.

Try driving without the wife in the car. That usually stops my high speed whines...

I dunno about that... I have supercharger-like whine when your wife is in my car and when she's not. <Grin>

Check the 4 bolts on your throttle body, mine were a little loose on my 5.7 and sounded exactly the same as you described.

Any updates? Did you ever figure out the source of the noise?

My 5.7 sounded like a supercharger whine when accelerating, but was quiet at idle, turned out to be the water pump...
Without the belt on there was in/out play the dealer said shouldn't be there. I haven't taken the belt off the new pump to test this, but will soon as I am doing the idler pulleys just to be sure its all good for a while now. They swapped the pump out under warranty and all is quiet again so far

Nothing new to report. It still happens.Also. It only occurs under throttle its not a constant noise.

Is it in the engine compartment, or can you tell? My '15 scat has the rear end whine, it's only noticeable at highway speeds accelerating, quiet decelerating...

The 6.1 intake gaskets used to tear and cause that sound.

Replaced a few sets, on my SRT, back in the day.
