2019 Chrysler 300S Alpine stereo upgrades

Despite the fact that it has been cold outside lately, I've managed to make some progress on my stereo upgrades. It will still take me a while to finish things up, but at least I am closer than I was two weeks ago.

So far, I have dynamatted the rear deck lid, trunk and both front doors. The front doors were a PITA and required a second set of hands to hold the door carrier out away from the door while I dynamatted above and below both braces in each door. I installed the tweeters in both corners of the dash (leaving the center speaker in place), ran new speaker wire for the tweeters (AudioFrog GS10 1" tweeters) and door speakers (AudioFrog GS690 6X9) and a PAC AmpPro integration harness with Toslink cable. I am waiting on my amp racks to dry after spraying them with a few coats of flat black paint.

    Here are some progress pics.

Well I still have lots more pics to upload, but I keep getting a message that says I have exceeded my quota by 2.5 MB and can't upload the rest of the pics. Sorry guys, I wish everything could be done here on this site without having to use an outside hosting agency, as that sure would be much simpler. Is there anything the Administrators can do to fascilitate photo uploads?

What are you going to use for a processor? Brax just came out with a better version of the helix dsp pro which is amazing. You can run optical from the amp pro, to the processor and then to the amp.

I will be running an AudioControl DM-608. I did add the Toslink port to my AmpPro as well and will be running an optical cable to the processor.

I will be using AudioControl ACM 4.300 for the dash tweets and 6X9 door speakers. I will be using a Sundown Audio 6.5" sub which will go in the rear deck which will be powered by an ACM 1.300 mono amp. I dropped off my templates at a local plastic company last week, so that they can fabricate a custom speaker mounting ring for the 6.5" sub out of HDPE plastic. I also have an AudioFrog GS12 subwoofer in a custom enclosure, but I don't know if I will be using it, as I really do not want to give up too much trunk space. My goal is, to get really clean power to the tweets, door speakers and 6.5" sub and have the ability to make adjustments to them with the DSP.

I ran new speaker wire through the molex connectors in the front doors yesterday. The good news is, there was no need to drill the molex connectors, as the bottom corners of each had enough space to allow me to pass 16 gauge speaker wire through.

I found a way to upload photos in a video format, using some software that I had purchased a few years ago. Here are some updated photos of my stereo upgrade thus far.
